There are many sites which pay for members to offer articles and opinions. It makes sense from their point of view because it's generally a cheap way to take on all sorts of freelance writers and it makes sense from your point of view because it's quite enjoyable and interesting, plus you get paid.

The standard is that you need to write an article containing a specified minimum number of words on a subject from the program's database of items, such as movies, sport, television, sport, music, etc.and you get paid a nominal sum for writing plus money every time it is read.

I recommend opinion writing as the best and most reliable type of program for making money. They do actually pay out on a regular basis and are enormously enjoyable systems. You're in control to a large extent of your earnings here, and the biggest rewards come for good writing. You can earn good and regular money from these sites.

£££££ - CIAO is the ultimate opinion site, and is one of the most highly recommended of all Internet Money Makers. It provides the wonderful combination of a known money earner and a brilliant community feel. The Ciao UK site pays by electronic transfer to your bank account when your balance reaches £5. £££ - This is a good opinion poll website and normally asks you to complete surveys on all manner of current affairs topics. There is currently an expectation that this program is going to expand significantly in the next few months as the government is driving towards getting good quality focus group type feedback. Most surveys pay between 50p and 75p each and when you have £50 in your account you will be paid by cheque. You normally get anything between £1 and £2 each week from this site, so payment will take a while, but it looks a professional and sustainable program. One of my favourite schemes. WRITTENBYME ££An American site which used to pay out in cash and vouchers for 'Deweys'. The reward scheme was pulled at the beginning of September 2001, although you can still submit your opinions in the hope of making a name for yourself - but who needs such altruism? Like all such programs, you need to get in and make the money while it's there because nothing (especially in the world of Internet money making works forever, or even sometimes for more than a month!)

BIGRAG £ - This used to be a formidable money maker, but unfortunately has died a dismal death and no longer works in any way, shape or form. Their business model was completely flawed, but it made me a bob or two. The website has now been taken down. It's a shame because I used to make an awful lot of money with these guys, but such is life.
